The Stairway Project is a planned not for profit ‘community shed’ in the city centre cultural district. We seek to provide a space dedicated to learning and personal development that supports individuals seeking self-improvement, social inclusion, company to work on projects, education, and exposure to transformational experiences which can bring much needed balance and enhance all areas of work and family lives. Our space also includes an art gallery, Mudita Gallery, that will provide increased opportunities for community group exhibitions and connections for artists. |
Coming Event: |
In todays frantic world, it can be hard to find the time to look after yourself, to reflect.
Join me, at The Stairway Project for a program of activities designed for self reflection, make the commitment to force yourself to find the time. Some ideas you may hate, some you may love, many you’ll have heard before, but perhaps haven’t given them the time and space they deserve. Session 1 - A bucket list with a difference & what is your definition of happiness. Pick and choose the events you want to attend, or make the decision to attend them all. Join like minded people and make new friends, not by being forced to interact, but by discovering people with the same purpose as you - to enjoy a more content, happier, more fulfilled life. While our current venue regrettably can’t currently accommodate wheelchairs (requires staircase access), we have a ‘join us virtually’ program for anyone who has mobility or access issues of any kind. Message us to find out more. This is a facilitated skillshare (I have no formal qualifications in psychology) and will benefit from the life experience of everyone in attendance. Your contribution is encouraged and valuable. It’s your personal responsibility to remove yourself from any content or conversation you find triggering. We can provide support, but not professional therapy/counselling. Bring a notebook and pen(s), just for this program. Something that resonates with you (do you prefer lines, no lines, a bullet journal, coloured pens, pencils, highlighters) BYO lunch |
